The Nebraska Synod, through Nebraska Lutheran Campus Ministry, invites students to fall more deeply in love with Jesus Christ and to actively participate in the on-campus Christian community so that they can discover and fulfill their vocation as disciples. Campus ministry places are critical leadership development centers as students discern, discover and explore God’s call in their lives.
The campus ministry student centers in Kearney, Lincoln and Wayne are in need of significant capital repairs and improvements. The campaign will provide facility repair funds that may be matched by the National Lutheran Campus Ministry. The campaign will also support the exploration of new campus ministry opportunities in communities such as Beatrice, Chadron, Hastings, Lincoln, McCook, Norfolk and Omaha in conjunction with partnering congregations. By investing in campus ministries, the Nebraska Synod is developing the next generation of Lutheran leaders.
