New Camp Programs PDF Print E-mail
Next to the synod’s congregations, camps are the most critical arena for raising new leaders for Christ’s church. As children “go to camp,” they participate in a life-changing event that affects them personally and impacts the church. In these days of competing interests and activities, camping ministries must be strengthened. The campaign will provide significant new program support installations that will make it virtually impossible for kids not to want to come to camp.

At Carol Joy Holling, the campaign will provide two major high ropes courses and add a variety of other new and exciting elements that attract children to camp and strengthen the program for persons of all ages. At Sullivan Hills, the campaign will provide a water feature, portable co-op adventure installations, labyrinth, archery course and theme/destination additions. For day camp and programs for people with disabilities, the campaign will provide special equipment needed for persons of all ages.
